ECOO Board: Call for Nominations

June 17th, 2013. The Nominations Committee of the Educational Computing Organization of Ontario has opened the Call for Nominations for positions on the ECOO Board.

Nominations close on Saturday, September 14, 2013.

ECOO works to support the effective use of technology in the classroom through:

  • hosting an annual conference;
  • forming partnerships with other educational organizations and vendors;
    and
  • liaising with the Ministry of Education.

 

Get more involved in ECOO by serving on the ECOO Board of Directors.

The election of directors will occur at the Annual Meeting at the #ecoo13 Bring IT, Together conference in October, Niagara Falls,  at a specified time and location that will be announced at a later date.

If you want to be actively involved in running your organization, submit your nomination for one of the positions on the ECOO Board of Directors.

ECOO Board positions open for 2013-2014
(All positions are for term that that runs from October 2013 to the following AGM, tentatively set for October 2014)

  • President
  • Project Manager
  • Communications Manager
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer

 

A Conference Chairperson will be appointed by the Board of Directors.

Job descriptions for each of these positions is attached.

Nominations forms and nominee biographies must be sent to the nominations chair in one of the following methods:

  1. complete the online nomination form
    OR
  2. submit the required information specified in the form directly to:
