Stephen Hurley fell in love with radio when he was in elementary school and his passion for the medium hasn’t diminished one bit over the years. After trying for over 10 years to convince mainstream radio folks in the Toronto area that a weekly show about education might be a decent addition to their schedule, Stephen expanded his education community website, voiced.ca to celebrate a focus on real-time audio conversations about learning and education. VoicEd Radio Canada is the result.

His mission with VoicEd Radio Canada is to change the way we talk about education—in Canada and around the world—by opening up a multi-media space for vibrant, provocative conversation about the issues, challenges and opportunities that are coming to define us in the 21st century.

VoicEd Radio Canada features a wide number of educators from Ontario and beyond …

If you’ve not yet run into Stephen around Ontario at education events, it’s only a matter of time! You can also follow Stephen on Twitter at @Stephen_Hurley.

Our thanks to Stephen for sharing five pieces for us — two blog posts from voiced.ca and three audio recordings from programs originally broadcast on VoicEd Radio Canada.
