A HyperDoc is a digital lesson package in which you bundle all the teaching/learning resources and activities for one instructional cycle. Whatever the content area or grade level, HDs can empower teachers to scaffold more effectively and students to personalize their learning. In the first of this two part series, we’ll focus mainly on board-style designs which can be used to walk learners through a series of lesson steps, create games, or offer a choice of mixed media resources and ways to demonstrate learning )in keeping with UDL guidelines). In this participatory workshop you’ll: (a) practice tech skills used to customize a template and (b) collaborate to build a HyperDoc x Choice Board learning plan.
