After a quick tour of all the latest updates to chatOAME, the AI chatbot designed by and for Ontario mathematics teachers, we dive into the results of analyzing 10,000 teacher conversations with the O AI chatbot. We’ll look at the patterns behind teacher AI use: what teachers ask for, how they ask for it, when they ask for it, how to improve what and how they ask for, and maybe a little of what they really need, and where AI can reliably helps teachers and students vs. where it quietly harms learning and assessment. You’ll have the opportunity to talk with the chatbot yourself; you don’t need to be a mathematics teacher to play!
