ECOOcamp Ontario 2022

As a result of discussions held on the evening of Monday, July 25th at the ECOOcamp Ontario 2022 Committee meeting, we made the very difficult decision to cancel our event for August 23-25.  The committee looked at options of continuing the event as planned or reducing the event to a single day, but numerous factors contributed to the decision to cancel the event until conditions are more favourable. 
 
We are very conscious of the toll that the last two years have extracted from educators, and we seek to honour the time invested by all participants. We appreciate your understanding and support in making this decision. 
 
We wish to thank the educators who had submitted session proposals (we see you!), the sponsors who had committed to supporting the event, the keynote speakers and panelists we had lined up, and the educators who had registered. The ECOO Board of Directors also wish to express their sincere thanks to the many hours of planning time invested by the members of the ECOOcamp Ontario 2022 Committee in preparation for the event. We especially wish to recognize the efforts of Melissa Bogaert, our Event Chair, for her dedicated leadership, energy, and organization through the winter, spring, and summer, as she has worked in coordinating our Support Series events and our ECOOcamp planning. 
 
We wish you all a very restful and enjoyable summer, and look forward to connecting with you in the fall.
