The goal of this presentation is to highlight an activity we have used as part of our conversations surrounding Remembrance Day, including discussing how war has affected almost every country around the world. Teaching in a very racialized community, we spoke about our own countries of origin, and the effects that war has had on our families and homelands, prior to immigrating to Canada. The goal of this activity was to tell the stories and experiences of War from our countries of origin, representing our diverse identities, and the present them in a visually stunning way. We will show teachers how we were able to accomplish this through technologies that were available to us.
