Twitter Stats and Moment for #ecoocamp – Bill reported that #ecoocamp was trending in Ontario during the event.
A small but mighty event. Every participant took home a door prize. All the participant names were re-entered for the final 3 door prizes – 3-day pass to BIT, $325 credit to BGDCSB tech shop, new Lenvono laptop for BWDSB participant.
BGCDSB has already expressed interest for #ECOOcamp 2020 with a suggested location of Walkerton. BWDSB has suggested they would like to host in 2021 in Hanover in a new K-12 that will be completed by then.
Recommendation:
It is recommended to the ECOO Board of Directors 2019-2020 that #ECOOcamp Owen Sound be continued, with a likely name change to #ECOOcamp Walkerton.
