A dynamic annual conference
Since 1980, ECOO has been hosting annual conference events for computer-using educators. With the arrival of COVID, we re-focused our annual fall BIT BringIT, Together conference into our very successful virtual ECOOcamp Ontario conference in August 2020. All sessions were offered live; recordings are available in our members’ archive. In 2021, we hosted a #vBIT21 virtual Bring IT, Together 2021 in February. Our ECOOcampON 2021, took place in August, and we hosted a second #vBIT21 virtual Bring IT, Together 2021 in our usual November timeframe in the fall.
Support Series
Beginning in the fall of 2020, we implemented an evening/weekend series of online events at a nominal cost in the form of our Fall Support Series. In January 2021, our support series events were incorporated as part of your annual ECOO membership. In addition to free registration to attend the events live, session recordings from our Winter Support Series – 2021 in January-February, our Spring Support Series – 2021 in April-May, and our Fall Support Series – 2021 are available for on-demand viewing by ECOO members.
