Another Successful #vBIT Bring IT, Together Conference

Thank you to everyone involved in our fall #vBIT21 conference!

Over 600 delegates attended the #vBIT21 Bring IT, Together virtual conference this past Friday and Saturday.  Produced in partnership with OASBO-ICT, the event featured 48 presentations, 25 exhibit booths, 85 presenters, along with 3 great social events, and the behind the scenes efforts of dozens of committee members, moderators, and sponsor representatives in the exhibit booths.  Details are available on the bringITtogether.ca website, and session recordings are available to attendees within the conference platform, Whova.

This November’s #vBIT21 represents the 9th Bring IT, Together! event that ECOO and OASBO-ICT have co-produced. Following annual face-to-face events held each fall in Niagara Falls in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019, we hosted a deferred 2020 event virtually in February 2021, and returned to our usual fall timeframe this past week with our fall 2021 #vBIT21 event.

Educators and Exhibitors

We extend our thanks to the educators and education technology companies involved in providing this exceptional learning opportunity.

Committee and Moderators

The #vBIT21 Bring IT, Together! event was co-chaired by Ramona Meharg (ECOO) and Doug Fiebig (OASBO), with support from ECOO President Lynn Thomas, OASBO-ICT President Jason Hillier, and Conference Treasurer Andrew Forgrave.  Moderators were drawn from the ECOO membership and coordinated by Melissa Bogaert: thanks to Melanie Mulcaster, David Carruthers, Peter Beens, Leslie Boerkamp, Noémie Bergeron, Melissa Oliver, and Helen Lambert-Denis.

Looking Forward

The Bring IT, Together admin committee is closely monitoring the evolving situation related to social gatherings, and looks forward to returning to a face-to-face conference opportunity as soon as is practical. Please watch for forthcoming information regarding our event in 2022.
